About me
Hi there! I'm Alba Santaló — a freelance translator specializing in audiovisual translation and accessibility. I studied Translation and Interpreting at the UAB and then went on to do a master's degree in Translation Technologies (Tradumàtica). As soon as I finished my master's degree, I started working as a freelance translator.
Since then, I have worked on a wide variety of projects, from literary translations and subtitling for the deaf to audio transcription for a scientific project!
Thanks to my master's degree, I discovered the world of accessibility, a field that interests me and to which I have been dedicated from the beginning, to the point of making subtitling audiovisual content for the deaf my specialty.
I am always learning, I am interested in understanding the changes that are taking place in our field and in always being able to offer the best!
Why choose to work with me?
As a professional, I offer commitment and a personal approach. I want the content to be clear, accessible, and faithful to the original. I respect deadlines and am involved in every detail.
